Zapiski Historyczne is an open access journal. Texts are published on the journal’s website and are immediately available to the public free of charge. The texts are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Zapiski Historyczne follows the recommendations of the Budapest Open Access Initiative.

 

Text sharing and self-archiving

Version of Record – authors may share and self-archive PDF files containing their texts as published in the journal under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, through any website, online repository, social networking service, etc. Sharing the Version of Record by authors is not subject to any embargo period or fee.

Author Accepted Manuscript – authors may share and self-archive text files containing their texts in the form accepted for publication in the journal under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, through any website, online repository, social networking service, etc. Sharing the Author Accepted Manuscript by authors is not subject to any embargo period or fee. Authors must provide the Author Accepted Manuscript with an annotation of acceptance of the text for publication in Zapiski Historyczne. Once the text has been published in the journal, the annotation should be supplemented with the full bibliographical data of the text (volume, issue, publication year, page range, etc.) and a DOI number referring to the version of the text published in the journal.

Version submitted to the editorial staff – authors may share and self-archive text files containing their text in the form submitted to the journal’s editorial staff under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, through any website, online repository, social networking service, etc. Sharing the submitted version by authors is not subject to any embargo period or fee. Authors must provide the submitted version of the text with an annotation of submission to the editorial staff to consider for publication in Zapiski Historyczne. If the text has been published in the journal, the annotation should be supplemented with the full bibliographical data of the text (volume, issue, publication year, page range, etc.) and a DOI number referring to the version of the text published in the journal.

 

Sharing research data

The editors of Zapiski Historyczne strongly support the practice of making research data produced as a result of preparing texts for publication in the journal freely available, and encourage authors to share them, for example by depositing them in online research data repositories.
